Hilary zou enkele dagen voor het huwelijk een document ondertekent hebben waardoor ze geen recht zou hebben op de meubel winkels van Mike’s familie ter waarde van zo’n 500 miljoen dollar. Hoewel dit soort zaken nogal wat onrust kunnen veroorzaken zegt een bron dicht bij het stel dat dit niet zo was.

It’s no secret that marriage and Tinseltown don’t always work out well together, and Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie ended up signing a prenuptial agreement before their wedding this past weekend.

According to a report, the “So Yesterday” songstress signed away her rights to Comrie’s family’s $500 million appliance and furniture empire.

Though sometimes prenuptial agreements can be tricky and tense, a source close to Duff said it was just a quick little speed bump on the road to marital bliss.

“It was a totally amicable agreement. They love each other very much and knew this was just a technicality.”

Hilary’s boek “Elixer” zal vanaf oktober te koop zo, zo laat de uitgeverij weten. Het is nog niet bekend of het boek ook in Nederland/België te koop zal zijn of vertaald zal worden.

Haylie heeft getwittert over Hilary’s huwelijk zo liet ze weten dat het een speciaal weekend was, gevuld met liefde en mooie herinneringen. Een andere ooggetuige heeft aan People Magazine verteld dat Mike zijn arm bijna de gehele ceremonie om Hilary had en dat ze er beide heel gelukkig uitzagen.

A rep for the 22-year-old singer-actress confirms exclusively to OK! that the couple were wed on Saturday in Santa Barbara, California.

Hilary, in a mermaid gown by Vera Wang, and NHL hockey player Mike Comrie, 29, said their ?I do?s? in front of a breathtaking sunset and 100 of their closest family and friends.

Hilary was escorted down the aisle by her mother Susan Duff, who was dressed in Badgley Mischka.

Sister Haylie Duff acted as maid of honor with four additional bridesmaids.
